Billet and ingot hot rolled into bar, plate and coil in sizes mills will not schedule.
Hot rolling from forging billet is how we produce plate and bar sizes that are unavailable, obsolete or stuck behind a long mill queue. Because the billet is already in supply, conversion starts immediately.
